This special issue celebrates the 55th anniversary of Omega journal and marks fifty years since the introduction of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The special issue seeks to showcase the evolution of DEA from its origins as a tool for efficiency measurement to its current applications in intelligent data-enabled analytics and decision making.
