    <p>This special issue seeks to explore the emerging concept of technological sovereignty and its implications for innovation policy, particularly in the context of securing critical technologies in an increasingly multipolar world. The special issue invites contributions that examine how nations and regions are developing strategies to govern, protect, and advance their technological capabilities while maintaining competitiveness and security.</p>
    
    <p>Submissions are welcome that address theoretical frameworks, empirical analyses, and policy recommendations related to technological sovereignty, critical technology governance, innovation ecosystems, supply chain resilience, international technology competition, and the balance between openness and protection in innovation systems.</p>
